With Swing, Siemens introduced a complete hearing aid family with a specially developed, digitally programmable chip containing all hearing aid functions. The chip was based on a type of building block system with different function blocks.

As a further novelty, wearers could easily change the color of the shell thanks to an innovative frame design that was specially developed with this in mind.
